 HDMI Konnektörler boyutlarına göre 3 farklı seçenek ile karşımıza çıkmaktadır.  A tipi konnektör (Type A) şu an mevcut olan bir çok multimedya ürünlerinde kullanılan hdmi konnektör biçimidir. Type A konnektörler 19 pin kablo bağlantı yapısına sahip olup standart genişliği 13,9mm yüksekliği ise 4,45mm'dir. Type A hdmi konnektörler tüm *SDTV, **EDTV, ***HDTV modları destekler. Type A HDMI konnektörün pin bağlantı yapısını 2. sayfada detaylı bir biçimdeyer almaktadır.

Type B konnektörler ise  Type A konnektörlere göre 2 kat fazla bandgenişliğine sahiptir ve 29 pin yapısındadır. Genişliği ise 21,2mm yüksekliği ise 4,45mm'dir. Type B konnektörler ****WQUXGA gibi 3200 x 2400 piksel çözünürlükleri destekleyebilen monitörler için kullanılmaktadır.
